Having worked in the fast paced and high pressure marketing and events industry for over 15 years, I understand the importance of switching off and recharging. Taking time out to rebalance, by focusing on our wellbeing, helps us be better prepared to face the challenges of the modern world.

I was immersed in holistic therapies at a young age as my mother’s guinea pig when she was training in Swedish Massage and Reflexology. Watching her volunteer at a local hospice to help patients and carers inspired me to do good for others.

I trained in Reflexology back in 2015 and then Indian Head Massage in 2019. Holistic therapy has always been my side-hustle whilst I worked in the corporate marketing industry, but a change of circumstances out of my control gave me the opportunity to create more space and time to set up my own business in 2020.

dPK Holistic Therapy allows me the flexibility to work around my two young children, as well as the freedom to continue freelance marketing for charities and start-ups. In addition, I work with POINT3 Wellbeing, delivering wellbeing and mental health training within the workplace – inspiring a mindset movement.

If I can use my skill to help others, make them feel better in themselves, or simply provide them with a safe space to come and relax, then this is a very good day at the office for me. I have had some incredible experiences travelling the world through my previous work, but supporting a client with their mental and physical wellbeing is far more fulfilling and rewarding. I love what I do.
